Storytelling in Schools

Developing children's attention, communication and relationships through adventures in their imagination

Suzanne's performances use a creative blend of gesture, mapping, visualizing images, narration and characterisation helping the listener to enter fully into the story landscape themselves.

She uses well chosen tales, fabrics, props and songs to create memorable story experiences that engage and involve children in active imaginative listening.

Superb for introducing or enhancing learning topics. Great support for Speaking & Listening initiatives or simply to inject a bit of storytelling magic into theme days and celebrations.

Workshops and Training

As Teachers we all value stories, storytelling and the need to share books with children. But how long is it since you yourself fell under the spell of a story, well told, without a book?  It has a magic all of its own and instigates positive relationships that build and support true communication.   Why not book a staff workshop to explore basic telling techniques and remember how ‘putting the book down’ can make a huge difference for you and your class.
